Sara Fish is a litigation associate in the Atlanta office of Fish & Richardson P.C. Her practice focuses on patent litigation, including actions filed in various U.S. district courts, including experience in the Eastern District of Texas, Northern District of California, and the District of Delaware. Ms. Fish has also worked on patent matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission and assisted with patent post-grant matters, such as inter partes reviews, before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. She also has experience assisting clients, often her pro bono clients, before superior and state courts. Ms. Fish assists clients with all aspects of patent litigation ranging from complaint filing or answering through discovery, claim construction, infringement and invalidity contentions, expert discovery, and trial. Recently, Ms. Fish was the primary associate on a successful trial team defending her client from patent infringement allegations in the first patent trial in the Middle District of Georgia in the last 15 years. Ms. Fish's previous litigations have involved various technologies, consumer products, software, cable television and network hardware, medical devices, and fastener technologies. Ms. Fish's experience includes drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions hearings, preparing witnesses for trial, and managing daily litigation tasks.
