Drew is a seasoned litigator with extensive trial experience in complex commercial and franchise litigation; intellectual property disputes and trademark enforcement; real estate, leasing and construction matters; and healthcare law. His clients include franchisors, commercial real estate developers and owners, contractors, healthcare systems, and other businesses. Having developed his expertise at a nationally recognized law firm in Atlanta, Drew is an accomplished litigator and has represented businesses from start to finish in high-stakes litigation at trial, on appeal, and in arbitration. In the courtroom and in depositions, Drew is methodical, persistent, and unflappable. Drew’s clients trust him to not only develop winning litigation strategies, but to also offer day-to-day litigation avoidance strategies. Drew serves as a counselor and strategic advisor to his clients on franchise relationships, landlord-tenant disputes, construction issues, brand protection, and risk management. Drew similarly helps clients negotiate and prepare commercial leases, trademark licenses, and other commercial contracts. Drew is also passionate about using the law to advance health equity. Drew has developed a nationally recognized expertise in the nondiscrimination provisions of the Affordable Care Act and regularly advises and represents health systems in connection with investigations and litigation related to compliance with federal nondiscrimination law. Drew frequently writes and speaks at conferences about compliance with the ACA and its nondiscrimination provisions. Before law school, Drew co-founded a start-up non-profit aimed at driving customers to local businesses that contributed to local poverty alleviation efforts. Drew is a native Texan and an avid Baylor Bears fan. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters in East Cobb.
