Jonathan Hogins is a partner with Thomas, Thomas & Hafer and is a member of the Firm's general liability practice in the Richmond, Virginia office. Jonathan comes to TT&H with significant experience in civil litigation in state and federal courts, as well as with alternative dispute resolution, in automobile and transportation liability, premises liability, legal malpractice, and products liability cases. He will focus his practice in general liability with a concentration on defending companies, individuals, and insurers in automobile and transportation, UM/UIM, hospitality, premises liability, and wrongful death litigation. Jonathan received his juris doctorate from The George Washington University School of Law in 2012, prior to which he obtained a Master of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary, Mason School of Business. Jonathan received his Bachelor degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Prior to joining TT&H, Jonathan defended attorneys in legal malpractice cases and governmental entities in cases involving qualified and sovereign immunity, civil rights, and state law tort claims. Jonathan also has years of litigation experience in products liability cases involving medical devices and pharmaceutical products in nationwide, Multi-District Litigation. Additionally, he has tried multiple cases to verdict in the areas of personal injury and premises liability. Jonathan was named Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers in 2018. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys traveling, playing golf, snowboarding, and spending time with his miniature dachshund, Daisy.
