With her experience as primary outside counsel, rating agencies and investment banks have looked to Kristen for all aspects of their CMBS needs. She is also well-versed in government-backed and single-family securitizations. Kristen Truver is a partner in the Finance Group experienced in structured finance, including all aspects of commercial and residential mortgage-backed securitizations. Although her practice primarily focuses on commercial mortgage-backed securitizations (CMBS), including multiseller conduit, single-borrower, floating rate and small balance transactions, and resecuritizations, she has experience in single-family rental securitizations, multifamily securitizations backed by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and, most recently, commercial real estate collateralized loan obligation transactions. Kristen regularly represents all main participants in mortgage-backed securitizations, including issuers, underwriters, loan sellers, collateral managers and a nationally recognized statistical rating agency organization. Kristen serves as the national co-chair for Alston & Bird's Sustainability Committee where she leads and evaluates the firm's environmental initiatives. Kristen graduated magna cum laude from the Hofstra University School of Law with a concentration in corporate and securities law and received the Corporate and Securities and Securities Arbitration Graduate Awards.
