Brandi's practice focuses on representing corporate and individual clients in government investigations and complex commercial trial and appellate litigation. Brandi practices across the country, with a focus on litigation in the District of Columbia federal and local courts. More Info Brandi's litigation practice involves defending and representing clients across multiple industries, including tech, healthcare, telecommunications, and financial services, in routine and high stakes litigation. Brandi has represented clients in cases involving the False Claims Act; constitutional issues such as free speech, religious freedom and sovereign immunity; and breach of contract and consumer protection cases. Brandi has also represented individuals and companies in cases before the D.C. Court of Appeals involving adverse actions from District of Columbia administrative agencies. Brandi's investigations practice involves conducting internal investigations for large companies across various industries. She has defended clients against both congressional investigations after committee inquiries and government investigations conducted by regulatory and enforcement bodies involving healthcare fraud, consumer protection, antitrust, and anti-money laundering issues. Brandi is a two-time appellate law clerk, having clerked for former Chief Judge Eric T. Washington of the D.C. Court of Appeals and civil rights icon Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. While in law school, Brandi was a SLIP Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice. A moot court champion, she was also a member of two law journals, both at the University of Texas School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree, and at the Georgetown University Law Center, where she attended as a Visiting Student from 2011-2012.
