Richard S. Siegel has over a decade of experience representing multiemployer plans and other benefit plans in litigation. He has extensive experience representing plans in virtually all aspects of ERISA litigation, with a particular focus on withdrawal liability, delinquent contributions, fiduciary litigation, and benefit denials. Before joining Slevin and Hart, P.C., Mr. Siegel practiced ERISA litigation with multiple firms in Washington, DC. Mr. Siegel has been recognized as a "Rising Star" for Employee Benefits/ERISA law by the publication Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers every year since 2014. Mr. Siegel is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. He is also admitted to practice before a number of United States District Courts and Courts of Appeals. He is a cum laude graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center where he earned a Juris Doctor degree. He is also a cum laude graduate of Florida State University where earned both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degree.
