Daniel Weston is an intellectual property attorney actively engaged in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications. He represents companies involved in a wide range of technologies, including computer and database architecture, semiconductors, operating systems, control systems, AI/machine learning, blockchain/digital currency, drone technology, and autonomous vehicles. Daniel is also engaged in data privacy and cybersecurity – especially relating to the collection, use, and sharing of customer information. Daniel has experience in drafting licensing agreements and privacy policies. In addition, Daniel has obtained Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) accreditation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was a patent prosecution associate at a large St. Louis firm, where he worked on developing patent portfolios for various high-technology companies located throughout the United States. Daniel has also worked as a litigation associate at a New York City firm and as a software engineer.
