We are currently building a leading panel of corporate lawyers in Australia who are highly-skilled and self-driven with top tier technical experience in: • M&A and restructuring • General corporate advisory • Equity capital markets including IPOs Key requirements • A right to work and reside in Australia • Qualified to practice in Australia – unrestricted – and willingness to set up an Independent Legal Practice or engage on a contractual basis • A minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm in your area of expertise • In-house legal experience at leading financial services institutions/corporates preferred (directly or as a secondee) • Strong technical knowledge and experience • Strong experience in a common law jurisdiction highly regarded • Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant • Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally • Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment • Strong commercial/business acumen • Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible • Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy More variety. Client assignments can range from stepping into a team to support a project to taking on a senior manager role working on major transactions or regulatory change projects or implementation. Assignments are usually two to six months in duration and tend to require you work a minimum of four days per week.
