Description
We have an immediate opening for a registered patent attorney with 4-8 years’ of patent prosecution experience. A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field is required. This position requires the ability to interact directly with clients, think critically, quickly understand new technologies, and write well. Litigation, pre-litigation, and risk management experience is beneficial but not required. Responsibilities will include drafting patent applications and prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and patent offices around the world. Candidates must already be registered to practice before the USPTO. The successful candidate may be a resident in Wilmington, DE; King of Prussia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, PA; Alexandria, VA or Washington, DC.
