IP Litigation Associate

We are seeking associates with at least 3 years of experience to join our Litigation practice group, with the opportunity to focus on trade secret and patent litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, exceptional writing and research skills, an enthusiasm for litigation at all levels, and a commitment to delivering high quality work product in a highly collaborative environment. Successful candidates will also possess strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of law firm or judicial clerkship experience.
• Must have an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree.
• Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
• Ideal candidates will have technology litigation experience, including patent and/or trade secret litigation experience.
• Admission to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligibility to sit for the patent bar is a strong plus.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. The Firm is not able to sponsor employment visas for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

Associates are paid an annual salary based on the individual’s Class Year. Class Year is determined by the individual’s years of experience since graduating from law school as well as years of experience in a related field of work. The Firm’s current pay range for associates who have between three to eight years of experience is $235,000 to $325,000.
