The Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking a Professional Liability Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of commercial and/or civil litigation defense experience. Experience handling Professional Liability claims or matters in the Commercial Division courts is preferred but not required. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all aspects of case files from inception through resolution. Communicate with insurers and clients. Handle a wide array of professional liability matters, including malpractice claims against attorneys, insurance agents/brokers, accountants, and real estate agents. A minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience J.D. from an ABA accredited law school Admitted in NY Superior academic credentials Excellent written and oral communication skills The total annual compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
