Baker Botts LLP is seeking an associate with three or more years of experience working on construction contracts of various types to join our Austin, Dallas, Houston, New York, or Washington D.C. office. The successful candidate will have experience with various types of contracts, including EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply, and operation and maintenance contracts. Their role at our firm will focus on the energy and infrastructure industries. The ideal candidate would have experience managing a team working closely with a partner or supervising junior associates, possess strong drafting skills and contract analysis capabilities, have the ability to analyze and synthesize new information, and have an interest in the energy industry and our clients’ businesses. An associate will thrive in this position if they are comfortable operating as part of a team, enjoy taking ownership and responsibility for their work, seek feedback and training, have great communication and organizational skills, and are self-motivated to provide excellent substantive work and client service. Location: Position is open to the offices listed above. Please note your preferred office location in your application. For positions based in the NYC office of Baker Botts L.L.P., the salary range is $260,000 to $435,000 and depends on a candidate’s experience.
