Polsinelli is seeking a junior or mid-level health care litigation associate to join our national health care practice in our new Charleston office. Interested candidates must possess superb writing, research, and communication skills, significant litigation or clerkship experience, and a high level of academic achievement. The ideal candidates will possess 2-4 plus years of litigation or appellate experience, with substantial writing experience, needing little to no supervision to deliver a strong final work product. Experience handling litigation matters, including drafting motions and briefs, is required, with a strong preference for federal litigation experience. Candidates with experience in health care reimbursement litigation and compliance, with an emphasis on government and private payor disputes, is a strong positive. Candidates with experience in government investigations and/or False Claims Act work is also a positive. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively. Please submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample (preferably a sample brief filed in federal court), and law school transcript. A JD and an active South Carolina bar admission or willingness to sit for the South Carolina bar is required. Candidates will work from the Charleston office. Federal clerkship preferred. Compensation: Salary will range between $225,000-$290,000 annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
