The Columbus office of BakerHostetler is seeking a staff attorney to join its Litigation Group in a Chambers USA-ranked (Transportation: Road, Automotive) practice. This is a unique opportunity to work in an AmLaw 100 firm with a team of attorneys and paralegals dedicated to evaluating consumer complaints, making case resolution recommendations, and preparing rudimentary pleadings for a major auto industry client. An attorney with prior commercial litigation experience and case law expertise within the motor vehicle industry, or someone with experience reviewing and valuing insurance claims would be ideally positioned for this role. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in our Columbus office and it is ideal for the individual who has attained a high level of academic and professional achievement and wishes to take a non-partnership path as they further their career with a collaborative team in a forward-thinking law firm. This team enjoys sophisticated work and a predictable schedule with a reduced annual billing requirement and no business development expectation.
