Seeking a Policy Advisor with more than five years of experience to join the Lobbying & Public Policy practice. Experience with policy issues and legislation related to international trade is required. Capitol Hill experience is preferred, ideally with the House Ways & Means and/or Senate Finance Committees. Experience working for an executive branch agency of jurisdiction may substitute for Capitol Hill experience and is also preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (JD or Master’s) is preferred. Stellar academic credentials and advanced written and verbal communication skills are required. We advise clients across sectors impacted by trade policy—including manufacturers, exporters, importers, and multinational corporations—on matters involving trade legislation, enforcement actions, and global market access. Drawing on deep experience in both the legislative and executive branches, we engage with key decision-makers at agencies such as the U.S. Trade Representative, Department of Commerce, and Customs and Border Protection, as well as with congressional committees of jurisdiction. We help clients shape trade policy outcomes, navigate complex regulatory frameworks, and understand the broader geopolitical and economic context affecting international commerce.
