Trademark Prosecution Attorney

Arnold & Porter seeks a senior attorney to join our Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience managing trademark portfolios, conducting trademark clearance searches, and handling trademark prosecution, USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings (including experience drafting substantive office action responses and notices of opposition and petitions for cancellation), and working with international trademark prosecution and dispute matters nationally and under the Madrid Protocol with non-US trademark agents.

All applicants should have excellent references and currently be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are applying.

The salary range for this position in Illinois, New York, and Washington, DC is $135,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience.
