Midlevel Environmental Law & Real Estate Associate—Long Beach, California We are a full-service law firm hiring for our Long Beach, California office. We are seeking a motivated midlevel associate to join our dynamic team and support our Environmental Law and Real Estate practice groups. The successful candidate will participate in environmental investigations and litigation matters, advise on compliance and land use issues, and provide regulatory representation, particularly focusing on contaminated properties, due diligence for transactions, and related areas. Responsibilities: Drafting legal documents, including access agreements, real property covenants and other legal instruments. Conducting legal research and analysis. Conducting preliminary case investigations and evaluations. Participating in environmental litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions. Providing guidance on compliance issues and regulatory requirements. Conducting due diligence for real estate transactions. Providing support to senior attorneys on various legal matters. Necessary experience includes knowledge of real estate law, environmental law and/or litigation and have in-depth knowledge and some work experience with statutes, regulations, and common law related to soil and groundwater contamination, water quality, air quality, and/or climate change. Only candidates who have received their Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school with a California bar license should apply.
