Cozen O’Connor is seeking an attorney with a strong technical background in chemistry to join the firm’s IP Department in any location where we have an office. Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience. Prior experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation is a plus. Preference will also be given to candidates having graduate-level training in chemistry. Depending on the candidate’s experience and preference, this position could be wholly litigation-focused, or could be a mixture of litigation and prosecution-related work. A license in good standing in the resident state is required. Cozen O’Connor’s renowned Intellectual Property Department stands out from its competitors in part by providing comprehensive IP service coupled with the reach and resources of a national law firm. While many peer firms have quietly narrowed offerings, Cozen O’Connor’s 50-lawyer IP group advises on all aspects of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and unfair competition, from clearance and procurement to litigation. The firm maintains a soup-to-nuts model because, quite simply, that’s what’s best for clients. We are not working with search firms to fill this position.
