THE OPPORTUNITY: We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor& Employment Associate with 4-9 years of experience providing advice to sophisticated employers and handling complex, collective, and/or class action litigation and matters on their behalf. You’ll be a member of our consistently ranked and nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice group: Labor & Employment Department THE DAY-TO-DAY: As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. YOU HAVE: 3-6 years’ high-caliber experience representing employers in labor and employment matters Experience advising employers on traditional labor, restrictive covenants, wage and hour law, and other general—but sophisticated-employment law topics Experience handling employment law litigation, with an emphasis on complex and/or class and collective action matters Excellent writing and communication skills that allow you to advocate effectively with clients and on their behalf A desire to work hard for discerning clients and with exceptional colleagues, all of whom expect the very best from the lawyers on their team Intellectual curiosity and high emotional intelligence Excellent academic credentials and solid work ethic Stellar analytical skills Experience providing practical business solutions to clients Judicial clerkship experience is a plus The ability to walk and chew gum at the same time; i.e., the skills to manage multiple matters simultaneously Admission to the Georgia bar is required, Florida is a plus WHAT WE PROVIDE: We provide competitive salary and benefits at all levels.
