In addition, this position provides legal advice, including direction on transactional matters and other legal issues. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> This role supports the Bank's Syndicated transactions. </div> <div> <br> </div> <div> <b>Basic Qualifications</b> </div> <ul> <li> Juris Doctor degree from an approved law school and state bar admission.</li> <li> 2-5 years of relevant experience.</li> </ul> <div> <b> Preferred Qualifications</b> </div> <ul> <li> Intermediate to advanced analytical skills, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills, and planning and administration skills highly recommended.</li> <li> Intermediate to advanced knowledge of corporate and commercial law in the context of sophisticated commercial loan transactions, including real estate and personal property collateral, participations, and syndications. </li> <li>Experience representing lenders and borrowers in negotiating, documenting, and closing a wide range of commercial financing transactions, including syndications.</li> <li> Intermediate knowledge of other areas of law related to financing transactions (e.g., environmental law, special assets and bankruptcy, asset-based lending, construction financing, etc).</li> <li> Basic knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the Farm Credit System.</li> </ul> <div> <b> Compensation Information</b> </div> <ul> <li> Estimated Base Salary Range: $115,000-$150,000</li> <li> Target short-term incentive opportunity: 20%</li> </ul> About CoBank: <p> CoBank stands strong as an enterprise dedicated to the financial needs of rural communities.
