Post-Graduate Law Fellow

University of California Los Angeles

UCLA Law's Center for Reproductive Health, Law, and Policy (CRHLP) seeks a post-graduate law fellow to engage in cutting-edge, high-quality research and analysis related to reproductive justice. The Law Fellow will further the Center's mission by conducting legal, policy, and multi-disciplinary analysis, research, and writing on reproductive health, rights, and justice topics to advance new ideas and impact policy and legal change in reproductive rights, health, and justice areas. Working with CRHLP attorneys, researchers, scholars, and communications staff, the Law Fellow will help produce policy reports, quantitative and qualitative research, amicus briefs, public comments on regulations and policy, opinion pieces, academic articles, and other work. Topical areas the Law Fellow will work on include abortion, contraception, maternal health; racial and other disparities in access to care; young people's rights to sexual and reproductive healthcare and education; fertility care; and economic and criminal legal system policies that impact reproductive health and whether those who decide to build families can thrive, among other topics. The duration of the position is two years (approximately September 2024-September 2026), and it will be based in Los Angeles, California, with a hybrid work arrangement involving some days in the Center's Westwood office and more flexibility during periods when law school is not in session.

Salary & Compensation

UCLA provides a full pay range.
