It is a challenging and interesting position where you manage legal questions with regards to cybersecurity matters and related themes for cross jurisdictional projects and queries. </p> <p>Your responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Legal advisory role for cybersecurity risk-related matters, working closely with and supporting a number of internal partners</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Supporting and collaborating with CISO colleagues on group policies and procedures to ensure that adequate technical and administrative controls are implemented in compliance with applicable laws and regulations</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Participating in data security incident legal assessment and responses affecting Credit Suisse with the support of external counsel (where appropriate)</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Supporting and collaborating with contract functions, including Sourcing General Counsel, by providing advice on global cybersecurity laws and regulations, meaningful policies and positions, and implications for cybersecurity and data protection safeguard/controls</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintaining up to date knowledge of globally cybersecurity and related data protection laws and regulations, monitoring financial services authority developments, legal enforcement trends, and industry practice trends</li> </ul> <p></p> <h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Your future colleagues</b></h2> </div> <br> <p></p> <p>You join the Global Data Privacy Projects team within the General Counsel division at Credit Suisse. The legal and regulatory advice we provide includes analyzing legal requirements, providing guidance regarding upcoming laws and regulations, leading and supporting projects where data privacy aspects are relevant. We also refine the way we offer legal advice and move into a more automated approach. This role is open to discussion regarding flexible / agile working. </p> <p>We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&amp;I) and is committed to realizing the firm’s D&amp;I ambition which is an integral part of our global cultural values.</p> <div></div> <p><br> This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.</p> </div> <div> <div> <b> Your skills and experience</b> </div> <p></p> <div> <br> <p>We are looking for:</p> <p></p> <ul> <li>A qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of experience at a law firm or in a fast-paced in-house environment<br> </li> <li>Demonstrated experience advising on cyber security and privacy laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions<br> </li> <li>A proven ability to draft, analyze, and advise in an effective manner in relation to complex cybersecurity or data protection projects and arrangements across different client and functional groups<br> </li> <li>A deep understanding of technical concepts and creative tools and resources that may impact cybersecurity and data protection.<br> </li> <li>Solid analytical and problem solving skills and a very strong focus and understanding of processes their automation in the legal field<br> </li> <li>Outstanding interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to take full ownership of your area of responsibility<br> </li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and take clear decisions combined with a proactive way of working, a strong desire to learn and a high willingness to perform<br> </li> <li>Excellent command of written and spoken English<br> </li> <li>Ability to speak Mandarin, read and write Chinese would be advantageous<br> </li> <li>Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives </li> </ul> </div> </div> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Your new employer</b></h3> <p> Find a new home for your skills, ideas, and ambitions.
