<p><b> Manager of Pro Bono Development</b></p>
<p><b> Description:</b></p>
<p> Community Legal Services is seeking a Manager of Pro Bono Development for our dynamic, non-profit law firm. The Manager of Pro Bono Development will work in collaboration with Director of Pro Bono Services to implement the strategic vision and plan to strengthen and expand pro bono support from lawyers, non-lawyers, private law firms, corporations, and other partners. The Manager of Pro Bono Development will be responsible for:</p>

<li> Implement strategies, in collaboration with program staff, to engage, train and support pro bono attorneys and other volunteers, including law interns, in support of CLS’s programs.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Enhance and maintain appropriate pro bono and volunteer management databases including case management system.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain protocols for volunteer recruitment, retention, status reports and feedback from clients and pro bono partners.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the designated liaison between CLS and pro bono stakeholders throughout the legal community.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>In conjunction with CLS staff, participate in private bar events.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Report pro bono attorney retention and engagement goals as established by CLS leadership.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Supervise Pro Bono Development team members to ensure the successful implementation of recruiting, engagement, and retention activities. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Work with CLS substantive law units to develop and implement a strong pro bono attorney mentorship and co-counseling program.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Maintain a volunteer attorney communication plan to sustain relationships with volunteer attorneys.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>The candidate in this role is expected to identify opportunities for CLS staff to engage in private attorney involvement (PAI) activities as part of the pro bono program at CLS.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>This is a full-time, position with the ability to work both scheduled and flexible work hours, including some evenings/weekends, based on business needs to perform duties, attend meetings and/or other functions within or outside the CLS 12-county service area.</li>
</ul>
</div>
<p> <b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li> Juris Doctorate with 5 years of experience in the practice of law.</li>
<li>Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.</li>
<li>Must be a member in good standing of The Florida Bar. </li>
<li>Must Maintain highly polished presentation and organizational skills and the ability to engage a broad constituency, including experience and expertise to conceptualize new and appropriate engagement strategies and translate them effectively and consistently into achievable plans. </li>
<li>Possess excellent communications skills, is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of independently managing workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced legal environment with minimal supervision. </li>
<li>Must be computer literate using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Suite. </li>
<li>Valid Florida automobile license, use of own auto, and proof of insurance necessary.</li>
