This position is within our New York City Metro Region and may be assigned to either our Melville, NYC, or White Plains offices. The expected salary range for this position is between $226k- $258k. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. You will support, collaborate, and guide our clients on workplace safety and health compliance requirements for OSHA (federal and state) regulations and will manage support on other L&E matters as needed. Responsibilities: Support, collaborate and guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety and health compliance requirements. Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues and create programmatic opportunities to address risk, including training, policies, and processes. Develop relationships with regulatory agencies, defend our practices within appropriate boundaries, and work to influence policy development. Handle all aspects of litigation relating to matters regarding workplace safety and discrimination matters per OSHA regulations. Represent clients in informal conferences, settlement negotiations and defensive litigation of citations. Provide crisis management to clients dealing with workplace safety and health matters. Skills and Educational Requirements: J.D. from an ABA accredited law school, with exceptional academic credentials. 8+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required. All exceptional candidates with relevant experience will be considered. Class action or public sector experience is a plus. NY Bar Admission with “active” status required. Must have supervisory experience. First and/or second chair trial experience. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
