Description Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a transactional Associate with 4+ years of experience with our project development and finance group in Orange County. Job Requirements Candidates should have experience in energy project development, M&A and project finance transactions involving sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders, with a focus on renewable power and energy transition. In addition to transactional experience, candidates should also have diligence experience with energy regulatory matters, project real property, permitting requirements, offtake agreements, interconnection agreements and other commercial project contracts. In addition, candidates should be team-oriented and capable of taking on significant responsibility for drafting primary deal documents (including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements (including tax equity), financing agreements and joint venture agreements, leading complex diligence, deal management (including managing junior associates and internal specialist teams), client interaction and work product, and be willing to work the hours expected of a fast-paced, busy practice. The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $235,000 to $435,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
