THE OPPORTUNITY: We have an exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Associate with 6+ years of general real estate experience, including drafting and negotiation of documents in connection with the disposition, acquisition and financing of commercial property, and office, industrial and/or retail space leases. If you have joint venture experience that is a plus. THE DAY-TO-DAY: As an associate in the Real Estate Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. You will have a broad exposure to commercial real estate matters You will be a part of our energetic and entrepreneurial team YOU HAVE: Experience drafting and negotiating documents in connection with the disposition, acquisition and or development of commercial real estate, Experience drafting and negotiating office and/or retail leases for either landlords or tenants, Experience analyzing title and survey and have addressed due diligence issues, An interest in a broad exposure to commercial real estate matters, Excellent academic credentials, and high-level analytical, verbal and written communication skills, An active license to practice law in Georgia, Illinois or Texas, or the ability to waive into one of these states.
