Our Trusts & Estates Department is well established and focus’ on planning, administration, and elder law with matters ranging from routine to complex tax planning techniques; simple to contested probates and administrations, judicial accountings, estate tax return preparation, and funding of continuing trusts; as well as Medicaid planning including trusts, note planning, funding, and applications. Qualified applicant will be proficient in one or more of these areas. Job Description: Ability to provide legal counsel on estate & gift tax, Medicaid planning, & business succession Must be personable and maintain significant client communication Ability to coordinate and communicate with accountants and financial advisors Preparation and review of probate and administration documents Preparation and review of Gift and Estate Tax Returns Preparation and review of Wills, Revocable & Irrevocable Trusts Review of deeds and accompanying transfer documents Supervision of estate planning document execution Knowledge of Medicaid gift and note planning Review of Medicaid applications for submission Qualifications: Proven success working in a high volume environment Ability to produce quality work efficiently and accurately Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through Organized Dependable Critical thinking and ability to prioritize Professional, positive demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self directed and highly motivated Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Empathetic and compassionate toward our clients in difficult times Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
