As a Corporate Counsel in Windows + Devices CELA, you will work closely with component sourcing engineers, factory managers, devices program managers and developers, and business leaders across Windows + Devices to help deliver iconic end-to-end products across hardware, software, and services that people love and use every day. You’ll also collaborate with outside counsel to address and resolve project-specific issues.</li> <li>Draft and negotiate transactional documents, as well as monitor business activity to ensure legal compliance policies are followed. You’ll also help clients understand compliance issues, identify risks and offer solutions along the way.</li> <li>Identify opportunities and tools, as well as provide continuous feedback to improve process efficiencies within your role. You’ll also propose efficiencies to budget management, and model compliance, privacy, and data security.</li> </ul> <h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Qualifications</b></h2> <div> Required/Minimum Qualifications </div><br> <div></div> <ul> <li>Juris Doctor Degree or international equivalent degree AND 1+ year(s) experience as a practicing attorney <ul> <li>OR equivalent experience.</li> </ul></li> <li>Active license to practice law in a jurisdiction and capable of meeting admission requirements in relevant jurisdiction.</li> </ul> <div> <br> Preferred Qualifications </div> <ul> <li>1+ year(s) experience as an attorney in consumer electronics development</li> <li>1+ year(s) experience drafting and negotiating hardware component purchase agreements and/or hardware manufacturing agreements</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> <br> Legal Counsel IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
