Are you ready to go beyond?</p> <p></p> <p> As Associate Director and Counsel, Global Trade Programs, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing advice and counsel on Global Trade regulations in the United States and Canada, as well as globally as required. The selected candidate will be a member of the Global Compliance team in P&amp;W’s Legal, Contracts and Compliance organization and will report to the Deputy Director &amp; Senior Counsel, Global Trade Programs Support.</p> <p></p> <p><b> Key Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li> Analyzing and applying Global Trade regulations to support business needs in the context of internal and external stakeholders</li> <li> Partnering with various stakeholders across the company to provide compliant Global Trade advice to support business need</li> <li> Reviewing and negotiating Global Trade provisions of contracts</li> <li> Working collaboratively with members of the Global Compliance team and stakeholders across the company to manage compliance risks and support business initiatives</li> <li> Assisting in the development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of P&amp;W and RTX policies, standard work, and processes for Global Trade</li> <li> Continually enhancing and improving P&amp;Ws’ Global Trade program, always acting with integrity</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b> Basic Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li> Juris Doctor degree with at least 10 years' of relevant experience</li> <li> A minimum of 5+ years of relevant Global Trade and/or compliance experience</li> <li> Good standing with a state bar association and in-house counsel registration in a timely manner following hire</li> <li> Unrestricted work authorization in the United States and/or Canada</li> <li> Must be a strong leader and team player with excellent judgment and professional maturity</li> <li> Demonstrated ability to work with minimal daily supervision and to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously</li> <li> Must be willing to comply with applicable pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b> Preferred Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li> Experience with U.S. and Canadian export and import regulations, ability to coordinate and obtain non-U.S. and Canadian export and import regulatory advice</li> <li> Prior experience reviewing contracts and providing Global Trade business support</li> <li> Background within an aerospace manufacturing environment</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b> What is my role type?</b></p> <p> In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
