<div id="jobDescriptionText" class="jobsearch-jobDescriptionText" dir="ltr"><div> <p>The Corporate Compliance &amp; Ethics Counsel aligned with the Europe, Mid-East, and Africa (EMEA) Division will report directly to Oracle’s Chief Compliance &amp; Ethics Officer, and will play an active role in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Oracle’s global Compliance and Ethics Program. This individual will be a significant individual contributor (non-manager) that will be tasked to manage internal investigations in the EMEA region, train Oracle employees at all levels of the organization, interface with Oracle business partners, and participate in developing, refining, and implementing compliance policies, programs and processes. The Corporate Compliance &amp; Ethics Counsel will play a critical and holistic role in continuing to advance all aspects of Oracle’s compliance program. The individual should have significant experience and expertise in corporate compliance, internal investigations, and U.S. (and non-U.S.) anticorruption laws, and possess a demonstrated track record of effective project management. Speaking at least one language from the region is beneficial.</p> </div> <br> <div> <p>The responsibilities of the Corporate Compliance &amp; Ethics Counsel will include: </p> <ul> <li>Handling internal compliance investigations, working with both internal teams and outside counsel (when necessary). </li> <li>Managing, conducting, assisting in and documenting internal and any government-initiated compliance investigations. </li> <li>Advising on legal and regulatory matters, particularly with respect to global anti-corruption laws and legal developments in the area. </li> <li>Developing and communicating compliance policies, programs and processes. </li> <li>Working closely with Oracle’s Regional Compliance &amp; Ethics Officers in an assigned region or regions (among the LAD, EMEA, JAPAC, and North America regions) to assure implementation of corporate compliance initiatives, programs, and processes. While this attorney will interact with the global team, the focus of this attorney's work will be the EMEA region. </li> <li>Leading and effectively managing other compliance projects, programmatic changes, and initiatives designed to continue to advance Oracle’s compliance program. </li> <li>Interacting cross-functionally with other lines of business (such as internal audit, human resources, finance, operations, sales, channels, and information security) to coordinate compliance and ethics investigations, initiatives, programs, and remediation activities. </li> <li>Evaluating and reporting on compliance issues and areas of risk. </li> <li>Providing guidance to Oracle employees on matters related to ethics and compliance. </li> <li>Developing and/or conducting compliance and ethics training. </li> <li>Assisting in the development, implementation, and scaling of controls and processes. </li> <li>Advising on Oracle’s processes and contracts related to onboarding and monitoring Oracle’s partners and suppliers, including (as needed) reviewing and advising on certain due diligence issues escalated from the various regions. </li> </ul> <p>This is not a comprehensive list, and the role may develop to include additional or different responsibilities. </p> <p>#LI-KA1</p> </div></div>
