Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a trademark associate for its Los Angeles or New York office with 3-6 years of trademark litigation experience, with some further experience in prosecution and counseling. The ideal candidate will have experience in trademark, false advertising, counterfeiting, and unfair competition actions in federal courts, administration agencies and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The candidate also will have experience prosecuting and defending domain name proceedings under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and similar policies; asserting and defending false advertising and deceptive trade practice actions before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, and other federal and state agencies; and coordinating the global enforcement and defense of registered trademarks. Top law firm experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills required.
