Senior Paralegal - Financial Services

Position Summary: Fried Frank is seeking to add a senior paralegal to support the Financial Services group within the Corporate practice. The paralegal will primarily assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings on behalf of key clients for the practice as described below, and will be expected to maintain ongoing knowledge management through regular research and daily interaction with Financial Services partners, special counsel and associates in the New York and Washington, D.C. offices. They will be directly supervised by the partner and supervising associates in the Financial Services practice, and they will administratively report to the paralegal manager of the Corporate practice. Fried Frank operates within a hybrid remote work environment, wherein employees will be expected to be in the office a minimum of three (3) days per week from Monday through Friday. Duties & Responsibilities: Support attorneys with research, preparation and review of regulatory filings to various state, federal and international banking agencies. Frequent interaction with high-level clients to ascertain disclosure of information related to filings, including knowledge of investment fund structure, executive officers, and advanced governance issues Preparation and review of formation documents, including certificates of incorporation, operating agreements for new entities, and other corporate governance-related materials required for knowledge management Draft legal responses to client requests and correspondence under supervision of attorneys Maintain internal documents that tracks client data and perform reconciliation tasks as-needed Assist with document retrieval and assist with a wide range of projects/deliverables Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution required. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years corporate paralegal experience within a legal environment. High levels of experience with Microsoft Office, PDF software and basic database and case management systems required. Experience with corporate governance matters strongly preferred. Skills and Abilities: Must be able to effectively work and communicate with all levels of partners, attorneys, and staff. Must be able to keep information confidential. Requires effective written and verbal communication and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments while working under pressure to meet important deadlines. Must be detail oriented; possess strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. New York Salary Range $100,000—$135,000 USD
