We are seeking a mid-level
Construction Contract /Real Estate Contract Attorney with 6-8+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts for owners, general contractors and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, development agreements, joint ventures, leases, and related real estate and construction contracts and documents.
- Provide legal guidance throughout all phases of development projects, from planning and financing to construction and completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including developers, contractors, architects, engineers, lenders, and investors.
Qualifications: - D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New Jersey required. Admission to practice in New York a plus.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in construction contract law, real estate development, or related practice.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (AIA and other standard forms), lien laws, bonds and risk allocation.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines.
