Seeking a mid-level associate (J.D. class year 2017 or earlier) from a transactional practice at a top U.S. law firm with core experience working on energy transactions in the U.S. to be a key member of a multi-office energy and infrastructure practice. Require a candidate with project finance experience. Experience with transactions involving private M&A, equity investments, joint ventures and other complex corporate transactions a plus. Strongly prefer industry experience focused on power and renewable energy. Experience with other segments of energy and infrastructure a plus. Ideally the candidate has cross-border/international experience, but core experience should be working on transactions under New York law. Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency a plus. Prefer candidate located or willing to relocate to Washington, DC area, but could be based in New York City. Licensed to practice in a state in the U.S. Salary range 310k - 390K
