About the role We are seeking an ambitious Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Sydney insurance team and work alongside respected partner Michelle Dunne. Our insurance practice in Australia is growing rapidly. Our partners spread their expertise across a range of insurance lines and industries. We are consistently called upon to help key international and local insurers and corporates with their most complex insurance claims and issues. Michelle’s practice advises clients on: general liability matters and the conduct of medical negligence/allied health litigation. handling medical malpractice claims /investigations and assisting in the preparation of written responses to investigating regulatory bodies, on behalf of insured allied health practitioners. clinical trial/s and claims arising from those. defending large scale personal injury matters, involving cross-jurisdictional issues and multi-party litigation (including matters conducted in the Federal Court). defending various general personal injury matters, on behalf of corporate, personal and government bodies, as well as product liability and property damage claims. She has been recognised by The Best Lawyers in Australia for work in Personal Injury Litigation for many years including 2022. About you We are seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with strong defendant personal injury experience to join Michelle’s team. To apply you will need to have at least 4+ years post qualification experience and be able to demonstrate that you have a record of strong performance throughout your career.
