Job Description: Sidley’s Washington, DC office is seeking associates to join our international trade practice in Washington, DC. The team represents importers and exporters across industries, including consumer products, technology, energy, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience counseling clients in economic sanctions and export controls, and/or in support of transactions before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Must be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of the team. Strong analytical abilities, and proven research and writing skills required. Candidates must be admitted or eligible to seek prompt admission to the District of Columbia Bar. Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
