Schwabe currently has an opening for a full-time lawyer to help support the firm’s Indian Country and Alaska Native Corporations industry group, as well as government contracting in the firm’s Business & Transactions department. The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge of and experience with Alaska Native Corporations and/or Federal Indian Law 1 to 3 years of experience with transactional law Knowledge of and experience with government contracting Excellent academic credentials and professional references, as well as solid legal research, writing, and communication skills. Demonstrated ownership of projects and willingness to work hard in a team-oriented setting, but with significant independence. The pay range for this position is $155,000 - $200,000, depending on job skills and legal practice experience relevant to the position. The position is also eligible for discretionary merit bonus consideration at the end of each calendar year.
