The individual joining the team will play a critical role in the company’s contracting processes by actively driving buy-side contract negotiations, contract processes, administration and execution. This role has been designated as a work from home opportunity.</p> <p></p> <p><b><br> Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li> Draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial contracts including, but not limited to, Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Amendments, and Statements of Work</li> <li> Ability to manage and draft contracts across a wide array of sourcing categories and transaction types in both non-technology (professional services, management consulting services, marketing (print production), staff augmentation, and trade services) and technology (OEM/reseller, maintenance and support, hardware, telecom, and software).</li> <li> Partner with company’s Legal, Risk, Information Protection and Security and other cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to respective policies, processes, and established standards.</li> <li> Collaborate with sourcing managers, business partners, and external suppliers for successful completion of assigned contracting projects.</li> <li> Act as a point of escalation for procurement team members and company stakeholders for contract related matters and questions.</li> <li> Assist with maintaining, developing, implementing, and continuously improving processes and procedures for consistent, compliant, and efficient contracting processes and operations within Procurement.</li> <li> Define risks and communicate escalations effectively with management and relevant stakeholders to resolve contractual issues quickly and accurately.</li> <li> Initiate, track and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintain associated documentation as needed.</li> <li> Assist with design, build out, and maintenance of contract management system and associated contract databases.</li> <li> Partner with Supplier Management group in reviewing, validating and updating contract and supplier data.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><br> Required Skills</b></p> <ul> <li> Ability to draft, review and analyze contracts quickly and accurately with extensive working knowledge of commercial legal principles and terms.</li> <li> Understanding of risks and regulatory concerns associated with commercial contracting (e.g., privacy, data security, contingent labor).</li> <li> Strong negotiation skills combined with practical business judgment.</li> <li> In depth knowledge of strategic sourcing practices and contracting compliance objectives and best practices.</li> <li> Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet specific deadlines while staying aligned with multiple stakeholders.</li> <li> Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li> Excellent, clear, concise and timely communication skills (both verbal and written).</li> <li> Financial services company experience preferred.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><br> Additional Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li> Undergraduate degree required, JD or similar professional degree strongly preferred</li> <li> A minimum of 5+ years of relevant contracting experience in a procurement group, in-house legal department or law firm.</li> <li> Experience with purchasing systems, contract management systems and organizational interfaces (including e-procurement, Ariba, SAP and e-RFP tools)</li> <li> Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint</li> <li> Experience in technology related contracts highly preferred</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><br> Salary range:</b> $90,000-$135,000</p> <p><b> Overtime eligible:</b> Exempt</p> <p><b> Discretionary bonus eligible:</b> Yes</p> <p><b> Sales bonus eligible:</b> No</p> <p></p> <p><br> Click here to learn more about our benefits.
