<p><b>Overview</b> </p>
<p>The Associate General Counsel represents and advises in all corporate legal matters with an emphasis on legal matters related to the organization's Liability Litigation and Captive Insurance. This Associate will also ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including but not limited to compliance with IRS, HIPAA, Stark, and Fraud and Abuse statues and regulations.</p>

<li>Serves to support the efforts of the IU Health Risk Retention Group in Litigation Matters.</li>
<li>Analysis of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations</li>

<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Juris Doctor degree required from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.</li>
<li>Requires law license in good standing in Indiana.</li>
<li>Preference for 7-10 years of relevant experience.</li>
<li>Requires broad general background in business and civil law.</li>
<li>Healthcare background is preferred.</li>
