PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Corporate Counsel I: <ul> <li> Primary responsibility for specified area or areas, ability to perform tasks in primary responsibility area(s) accurately and efficiently with minimal day-to-day supervision by more senior lawyer.</li> <li> Responsible for drafting and negotiating legal documents.</li> <li> Responsible for researching and analyzing legal issues and applying them to specific factual situations; able to solve problems by identifying multiple alternatives and using professional judgment to select best alternative.</li> <li> Responsible for supporting and advising internal clients in a proactive, responsive fashion demonstrating good legal and business judgment.</li> <li> Responsible for executing on company and departmental strategies and initiatives.</li> </ul> REQUIRED EXPERIENCE <ul> <li> Bachelor’s Degree (required)</li> <li> Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from accredited law school (required)</li> <li> Admitted to practice law in Minnesota (required)</li> </ul> REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES <ul> <li> Excellent writing and communication skills</li> <li> Proficient with all standard office software (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)</li> <li> Accountable for deadlines and strong attention to detail</li> <li> Strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated sound judgment</li> <li> Flexible and proactive team player; able to create and maintain strong and stable working relationships within the department and across the company</li> </ul> This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position.
