Moore & Van Allen’s Charleston office is seeking a Corporate Attorney to join its Corporate practice group, which represents public and privately owned companies in a variety of business matters including commercial contract matters, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance counsel. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of corporate transactional experience (M&A experience is welcome but not required). Business background and the ability to grasp business concepts quickly are highly valued. This position requires reviewing, drafting and negotiating principal and ancillary supply, purchase, service, transportation and related agreements for commercial transactions. Candidate would be involved in a wide variety of corporate and commercial projects. Job will entail extensive client contact providing pragmatic counsel. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication ability, a willingness to ask questions and learn, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS Juris Doctor degree (or equivalent degree) Admission to the North Carolina State Bar preferred.
