Role purpose To sustain its growth, Allen & Overy Belgium is currently looking for an Associate in its Employment & Benefits practice group. Our Belgian labour law team works with clients to meet the challenges of the modern workplace with a forward-thinking approach. We cover all aspects of HR, pension and compensation policies, taking into account relevant issues such as labour law, social security, tax and EU provisions. We give innovative employment, incentives and pensions advice and develop creative strategies and solutions to HR-related issues relevant to each organisation. We litigate for our clients and handle transactions for them in the HR arena (closures, collective lay-offs, outsourcing, pension plan bargaining, incentives plans). Who we are looking for You obtained a Belgian Master in Law with outstanding academic results; You have 2-4 years of experience in the employment team of a reputable firm; You have an excellent command of English, Dutch and French (written and spoken); You are a team player with excellent legal capabilities, entrepreneurial spirit and good communication skills.
