In the Litigation Practice Group, our clients include private companies, portfolio companies, real estate investment firms, broker dealers, banks, entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, sophisticated private investors among others. We regularly assist our clients with commercial litigation, LLC, shareholder, and partnership dispute litigation, commercial real estate litigation, broker-dealer litigation, restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation, trusts & estates litigation, debtor-creditor disputes and litigation, finance and bankruptcy litigation, and litigation involving other matters. Our litigation practice crosses multiple industries and jurisdictions. The Opportunity We are seeking a paralegal to support our Litigation Practice Group. Key Responsibilities: Communications with clients and third parties throughout the course of a matter E-discovery management Case file management Document review Preparation of subpoenas Some drafting of letters Some drafting of motions Trial preparation Effectively utilization of the firm’s docketing system to track matters Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate Minimum 5-7 years of relevant commercial business litigation experience Strong e-discovery skills Superior oral and written communication skills Strong technical skills (Knowledge of Microsoft Office, iManage and ProLaw is a plus) Excellent attention to detail Excellent time management skills and ability to adjust to changing project priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Ability to delegate appropriate tasks A demonstrated commitment to providing superior client service Must be able to work occasional overtime as needed Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees in a harassment-free environment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, alienage, or veteran status.
