Barnes & Thornburg’s Minneapolis office is accepting applications for the Twin Cities Diversity in Practice 1L Summer Rotation Clerkship. This program was created to promote the Twin Cities legal community to 1L students from across the country who are interested in exploring a legal career in the Twin Cities. Our organization hires TCDIP 1L Clerks with the goal of evaluating candidates for potential future employment, but without specific knowledge of 2026 2L Summer Associate hiring needs. Candidates should be first-year law students for this program. Hiring decisions will be based on our 1L recruiting process and/or criteria used when seeking candidates from law schools. Hiring criteria includes: potential for success in a legal career, academic achievement (prior to law school and during your first term in law school), prior work and volunteer experiences, team-oriented attitude and strong research, writing and analytical skills.
