<p><b>THE POSITION:</b><br> <b>Our roster has an opening with your name on it</b></p>
<p> We are looking to add an In-House Counsel to our legal team with 4+ years of experience working at a nationally-recognized law firm or in-house at an internet/technology company to oversee the drafting and negotiation of day-to-day commercial contracts, assist with corporate governance, provide support to the marketing compliance program, and advise the business on privacy issues. Reporting initially to the VP – Legal & Business Affairs, this position will support many of FanDuel's business teams.</p>
<p><b> THE GAME PLAN:</b><br> <b>Everyone on our team has a part to play</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Draft and negotiate a high volume of commercial and general enterprise contracts including agreements with vendors and suppliers.</li>
<li>Assist with corporate governance and entity licensing matters.</li>
<li>Support efforts to ensure compliance with various state marketing regulations.</li>
<li>Support business teams and Legal colleagues in reviewing and negotiating data processing agreements and information security schedules with third parties</li>
<li>Build close relationships with personnel at supported business operations and obtain and maintain a strong knowledge of the product and objectives of those operations.</li>
<li>Provide sound business judgment, confidence, a sense of ownership, drive, comfort making tough calls where the answer is not clear, and an aptitude to learn quickly the nuances of the internet, technology and media businesses.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>THE STATS:</b><br> <b>What we're looking for in our next teammate</b></p>
<ul>
<li>JD from a top tier law school and member of at least one state bar</li>
<li>2+ years at a nationally-recognized law firm or internet/technology company, with a focus on corporate governance and/or privacy issues highly preferred</li>
<li>Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts</li>
<li>Passion to work hard in a fast-paced, start-up environment</li>
<li>Excellent communication (written and verbal)</li>
<li>Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful</li>
</ul>

<p>The applicable salary range for this position is $133,000 to $166,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.</p>
