The Ethics &amp; Compliance team consists of lawyers and compliance professionals, responsible for developing and implementing the company’s highly-regarded global compliance program. Nokia is consistently recognized by Ethisphere as one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies.”</p> <p> The duties and responsibilities of this important position include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Advising on legal and regulatory developments in data security and cyber incidents to business and legal teams as a subject matter expert including on upcoming and emerging relevant global security laws impacting Nokia’s business and products and industry best practice such as the NIST Cyber Security Framework and EU Cybersecurity Act</li> <li>Providing advice, guidance, and support on data and cyber security across the Nokia Group including Group Security, the Business Groups, product units and corporate functions</li> <li>Helping manage, advise and respond to security-related incidents, inquiries, investigations, complaints, and litigation including determining root cause and implementing remediation</li> <li>Representing Nokia in government, regulatory, industry body, customer, supplier and other security-related forums</li> <li>Act as a primary point of contact for security-related incidents with law enforcement authorities, government agencies, regulators, customers and suppliers as needed</li> <li>Advising business and legal teams on contractual requirements related to security and cyber</li> <li>Providing legal advisory services to business partners in developing and implementing policies, playbooks, measurable/measured KPIs, KRIs, processes, guidelines and technical enhancements to meet legal requirements, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations, and advising on compliance and training in the security and cyber areas</li> <li>Supporting the implementation of robust reporting regimes in line with good corporate governance and key regulatory requirements such as cyber security disclosure rules, relevant telecommunication security laws, data privacy laws amongst other</li> <li>Specific subject matters and groups covered include:</li> </ul> <ul> <div> <ul> <li>Cyber security including IT infrastructure and product security laws and regulations</li> <li>Physical security and business continuity</li> </ul> </div> </ul> <p><b>Job Requirements</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience in and a strong understanding of the legal issues related to cyber security, including data privacy, intellectual property, and cyber security regulations</li> <li>A law degree from an accredited law school and at least 10 years of relevant experience in cyber and security law fields including litigation, investigations, </li> <li>Experience working in or with government or agencies thereof in relation to the above-listed subjects</li> <li>Fluency in English</li> </ul> <p><b>Desired Skills &amp; Abilities</b></p> <ul> <li>Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including ability to make presentations at the senior executive and Board level</li> <li>Highly organized with strong project management skills</li> <li>Demonstrated thought leadership in the subject matters listed above as evidenced by articles, commentary, speaking engagements, and membership in relevant organizations/associations</li> <li>Ability to work in a complex, matrix organization and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li> <li>The successful candidate must be highly collaborative but also able to work independently with minimal supervision or day-to-day direction</li> <li>Ability to engage with regulators and other key stakeholders to advance regulatory matters in a manner that is favorable to Nokia</li> <li>Understanding of essential elements of effective compliance programs, including training, communications, risk assessments, audits, concern reporting, investigations, and discipline</li> <li>Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key regulators and enforcement officials</li> <li>Ability to work in a global organization and comfort dealing with wide range of cultures, languages, time zones and work styles</li> <li>Ability to travel </li> <li>Ability to achieve results while navigating a complex environment</li> <li>Ability to lead by influence and to work on project teams to efficiently achieve optimum results, to inspire others, and to lead by example</li> <li>Ability to spot emerging trends and risks and proactively develop solutions and sound risk mitigation measures</li> <li>Previous experience in the telecommunications or technology industries</li> <li>Fluency in multiple languages</li> </ul> <p><b>Job Location</b></p> <p> Nokia is a global organization with its primary headquarters in Espoo (Helsinki) Finland.
