May provide functional advice or training to other attorneys and stakeholders. </div> <div></div> <div> <b><br> What you'll do:</b> </div> <div></div> <div> <ul> <li><br> Leads eDiscovery team and handles a portfolio of complex litigations and investigations globally</li> <li> Advise and provide guidance to legal, compliance and the business on eDiscovery issues and strategies that align with the relevant policies, laws and regulations arising in connection with litigation, global data privacy laws, data protection laws, internal investigations, and regulatory inquiries</li> <li> Evaluating and refining eDiscovery processes, policies, and procedures to mature the program and develop a multi-year plan to build out the global eDiscovery function</li> <li> Working knowledge of Legal Operations, Information Governance standard processes, and expertise in eDiscovery technology and platforms including the use of analytics and technology assisted review.</li> <li> Provides legal counsel and guidance to managers, executives, and employees.</li> <li> Maintains current knowledge of the law.</li> <li> Conducts legal training sessions and assists in the preparation of training materials for the Company’s lines of business.</li> <li> Supervise a small team of eDiscovery professionals. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project team. Leads project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees. May have responsibility for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating a work group.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <br> <div></div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <b>What you'll need:</b> </div> <div></div> <div> <ul> <li><br> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li> <li> Juris Doctorate with a minimum of 10 years of in-house or private practice experience.</li> <li> Member of State Bar in good standing.</li> <li> Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients and/or public groups. Ability to empower and work with key employees and client groups to take desired action.</li> <li> Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.</li> <li> Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with confirmed experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations of significance to the operation.</li> <li> Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities with excellent follow-up skills and organization. Some litigation background helpful, as well as experience in supervising outside counsel and monitoring litigation.</li> <li> Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting project timeframes.
