The qualities we are looking for in the ideal candidate bring passion and dedication to the job and a love to take on big challenges without precedent, passionate, authentic, resourceful, self-starter, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up company. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> A genuine interest in taking on legal work in diverse areas is key - e.g., commercial contracts and negotiations, enhancing existing agreement forms, analyzing emerging regulations, assessing products and features for legal risk, advising on privacy strategy, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an industry to build easy and affordable manufacturing solutions with the world’s first affordable robotic machine operator. </div> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> How You’ll Make An Impact</b></h3> <ul> <li> Hands-on experience on a wide variety of legal agreements for all types of vendors, customers, and partners, including technology licenses, services agreements, NDAs, sales partnerships, development and collaboration agreements, distribution agreements, and commercial contracts.</li> <li> Build and improve enablement and training programs for the sales team on negotiation best practices and relevant legal issues.</li> <li> Provide business-minded legal advice to various teams.</li> <li> Create legal, compliance, and security policies and processes with the “right” fit for the organization at its stage with a foundation for building thereafter.</li> <li> Collaborate with other cross-functional teams on projects on an as-needed basis.</li> <li> Partner with outside legal counsel on complex legal matters</li> </ul> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Qualifications</b></h3> <ul> <li> Membership in at least one U.S. State Bar (preferably CA), with a good standing.</li> <li> J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.</li> <li> 7+ years of relevant professional legal experience working in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.</li> <li> Experience in the technology industry with a solid understanding of automation, hardware, RaaS/SaaS, and cloud technologies.</li> <li> Excellent communication skills are essential; you should be comfortable, confident, friendly, and able to explain complex issues at the right level of detail.</li> <li> Strong client service orientation with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.</li> <li> Self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, multi-tasking, and think quickly on your feet, and conveying grace under pressure. </li> <li>You bring a positive attitude to the workplace.</li> <li> Operate autonomously and comfortably in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry and workplace.</li> <li> You are willing and eager to take on new areas of law.</li> </ul> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Ready to take the next step in your career?</b></h3> <ul> <li> Then APPLY NOW and come join us on our mission to make automation affordable and accessible</li> </ul> <div> At Rapid Robotics, our team is what makes us special.
