Our team has previous experience at Google, Bloomberg, Amazon, NerdWallet, Lyft, Facebook and other top companies</li> <li>Last year we closed our Series C round that raised $65M, led by Paradigm.</li> <li>We're a world-class team with top backers and advisors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Polychain Capital, Paradigm, Brian Armstrong, Fred Ehrsam, Naval Ravikant, Elad Gil and more</li> </ul> <p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p> <ul> <li>Assist with a broad range of legal matters, including corporate, securities, employment, intellectual property, privacy and dispute resolution</li> <li>Draft and negotiate commercial agreements</li> <li>Develop internal processes for legal project management and cross-team coordination</li> <li>Provide risk-weighted legal advice to management on contract negotiations, transactional activity, and dispute resolution</li> <li>Perform legal research on regulatory issues and remain up-to-date on developments in decentralized finance</li> <li>Assist the General Counsel in implementing, operating, and enhancing regulatory compliance policies, processes and procedures</li> </ul> <p><b>REQUIREMENTS:</b></p> <ul> <li>JD degree and active law license in good standing</li> <li>4+ years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house</li> <li>Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance</li> <li>Ability to take ownership of projects and make actionable recommendations</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize matters</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Excellent collaborator</li> </ul> <p><b>NICE TO HAVES:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience with legal regimes applicable to the decentralized finance industry</li> <li>Experience with derivatives</li> <li>Prior experience with technology companies</li> </ul> <p>Salary range for this role is 201K to 350K USD (CA, NY, or remote). <i>Compensation subject to experience and location. Published salary bands pursuant to transparency laws, and do not include possible variable compensation such as annual merit increases, bonus eligibility, commission, or equity incentive.</i></p> </div></div>
