Job Description: The law firm of Foster Garvey is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join its Real Estate, Land Use & Environmental group. Foster Garvey serves clients in all aspects of real estate development, ownership, leasing, financing, and investment. You will have an opportunity to focus on the development, acquisition, and disposition of projects, portfolios, and multistate acquisitions and deal directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Lawyers in this group engage in a sophisticated practice with various developers and investors, including commercial and residential developers and clients in the hospitality, industrial, and healthcare industries. Job Requirements: The successful candidate will have: A minimum of 3 years of real estate experience, including real estate transactions, leasing and financing; Land use experience is a plus; Excellent academic credentials; Superb research, writing, analytical, and communication skills; A client-oriented approach to practice; Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with legal support staff; Demonstrated interest in giving back to the communities in which we live and work and License to practice law in Washington State (or the ability to waive into practice in Washington State) Candidates in the Seattle, WA area or willing to relocate to the region will be considered. Salary Range The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $170,000 to $190,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
